Travertine
Travertine is a common choice for both external and internal floors. Travertine is a form of limestone that often comes in a variety of beige colours and grey. To ensure that your travertine patio or tiles stay beautiful and durable, you will need to maintain the stone by cleaning and sealing with premium penetrating sealer, with the help of a professional accredited applicator.
Limestone
Limestone is a beautiful stone generally used for common area internal floors, external pool areas, Balconies, and more. It is soft and porous, it must be maintained and sealed with premium penetrating sealer every few years by an accredited professional applicator.
Sandstone
Sandstone is a popular choice for pool surrounds, external floor areas, and walls. Sandstone it is a sedimentary rock, it can easily erode and become friable, it is extremely important to apply a consolidating sealer especially around pool areas to strengthen the stone and protect it from the chlorine and salts prior to the application of premium penetrating sealer sealer.

Stone Cleaning and Sealing - Minter Ellison, Canberra
We recently visited Minter Ellison’s law firm offices in Canberra. We scrubbed almost 200m² of this beautiful Florence Marble Stone, which was supplied by STS Stone. The stone required a surface clean and seal due to the tiling contractors not properly sealing the stone after the installation.
We cleaned a large kitchen area of porcelain tiles, sealed all the grout joints, and also cleaned the porcelain floor tiles in their library floor area. We got rid of all the grime that was in between the grout joints and on the surface of all the tiles.
Management was extremely pleased with the outcome that exceeded their expectations.
