In the photos is a before picture of epoxy residue left on the surface of black marble tiles and an after picture showing the result once it was removed and cleaned from the surface.
Epoxy grout haze is a residue left atop the surface of tiles and natural stone after they have been installed. Epoxy grout haze can be attributed to carelessness in the final cleaning procedure of the tiling works, as with due care it is entirely preventable. Professional, experienced tilers will remove all grout haze from the surface of tiles during the completion of the cleaning process, however many with less experience will fail to do so.
Epoxy grout is used in commercial kitchens, bathrooms, balconies, bar areas, restaurants, etc. It is extremely hard to remove, especially if it has been left untreated for more than a few days.
Consequently, we offer the service of removing epoxy grout haze from all stone and porcelain tile surfaces. The removal process requires special stripping products in conjunction with mechanical agitation, a method which when utilised correctly will remove the haze without causing any damage to your stone or tiles. We operate with the utmost diligence to achieve this best possible result.
